In ancient times, the bathrooms were built outside the homes. When they were moved inside the houses for connivences, the Chinese hidden them to keep their success in money, relationships and fame, and retain good Feng Shui inside their homes.
These days, keeping the bathroom door or the water closet closed is a simple yet powerful Feng Shui tweak. The bathroom contains draining Yin energy – the energy of waste and water. While necessary, this energy is not uplifting. When you leave the bathroom door open, that draining energy spills out into other areas of your home, bringing down the energy vibration.

Over time, this undermines bedrooms, relationships, motivation levels, and even health.
The Cure
The solution is to simply keep the bathroom door shut. This contains the draining energy to one room instead of letting it run throughout your whole home.
Sometimes, the bathrooms are located in the relationship, finance, or fame area, causing all sorts of problems. If you are building a house, be mindful of how many bathrooms you are adding to the house. Some houses have more bathrooms then bedrooms creating unnecessary strenuous for the residents.

Doing this allows more positive, motivating energy to flow smoothly in other areas of the home. You’ll likely notice improved sleep quality, enhanced family harmony, and higher energy levels from this one small shift.
